Dear Friend,
IF you're a beginner in Mixed Martial Arts and you're frustrated with how many times you've been tapped out or punched in the face; then, this is going to save you months and months of aggravation, frustration and turmoil in the gym.
If you're training Mixed Martial Arts right now, you're probably pretty frustrated right?
I know how you feel. Mixed Martial Arts is so vast and seemingly endless you don't even know where to begin. You feel like you're not getting better at anything.
I mean, even if you were to focus on one aspect of MMA and train only Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for 2 or 3 years, you would only be a good Bjj player and you certainly wouldn't be great or world class.
And then you're Boxing, Kicking and Takedowns would suck.
Man, it just feels like there is so much to work on, and so many things to remember.
And there's so many guys in the class that there's no way for your instructor can spend more than a few minutes with you each class. Mistakes can go unnoticed for months, sometimes years.
And then there's the meatheads in the class who just want to just want to rip your arm off or knock you out with a single punch. It's like they're having a DEATH MATCH with you!
Don't you wish there was a better way to train so that everyone stayed safe and everyone learns and gets better?
Don't you wish there was a better way to train so that everyone stayed safe and everyone learns and gets better?
Ya know, when I first started studying martial arts, I thought I was pretty good. I mean, I was picking up all of the techniques and all the punching and kicking combos pretty quick and then I started sparring and then...
It was like I'd never thrown a punch before- ever! I was so good at doing an armbar from the Guard. My instructor said I had the best form out of anybody in the class. I thought I was going to kill guys on the mats; but, I couldn't even keep my guard even for half a minute!
It was crazy! I sucked!
I didn't get it. My form was so good. I looked better than most of the guys in the gym; but, when we started to spar, everything broke down.
"But, I'm not a quitter!" I told myself and I toughed it out. I took a lot of abuse and it was hard and it was painful; but, after a while I got better.
Now I know better.
1) Learn the movements
2) Practice the movements
3) The movements become mastered
4) Functionalize the movements during a sparring scenario
MOST PEOPLE QUIT at stage 4 when you start sparring the techniques that you've just learn and your trying to Guillotine Choke someone who absolutely does not want to be choked out and your trying to punch someone who doesn't want to be hit and who is trying to hit you too.
At stage 4 martial arts students will either quit because they are too frustrated or ashamed or, if they continue to train, they won't spar very often- thus, propagating the illusion that they are martial artists. To me, martial arts without sparring is more a fancy dance than anything combative.
Then there are the rare few who will endure the frustration and the heartache and keep sparring and battle through defeat and failure and embarrassment and injury to really, truly become great at martial arts.
What if I told you there was an easier way?
What if I told you that there was a simpler, less painful way to achieve high performance in martial arts?
Imagine knowing all the typical mistakes that virtually everyone makes. Mistakes like squeezing your knees together when going for an armbar or dropping your left hand as you throw a right hook. There are dozens of errors just like these. Many of which people don't even know about, even the pros!
Now imagine knowing all the trouble points before the problem even occurs, it's like having all the answers to the test before the test is even given to you. It's the magical cheat sheet with all the answers.

Imagine training in a way that looks like full out sparring, feels like you're full out sparring; but, really you're doing a dynamic and super cutting edge drill that isolates two or three specific techniques while replicating the correct timing, distance, and body positioning to pull these techniques off in actual sparring.

What's a resource like this worth?
The cost of a typical 2 or 3 hour seminar is atleast $100 and it may or may not help you. Of ten, seminars taught by highly esteemed MMA practitioners are poorly taught and just showcase a series of techniques that are often over and beyond your skill level.
As you pay your monthly dues, years can go by before you instructor catches you doing one of these skill hindering mistakes. Your classmates may not tell you of your mistakes because they enjoy tapping you out as you make them.
Private lessons are enormously expensive. I personally charge $100/hr. And there is only so much a person can teach and only so much a person can learn within that one hour block of time.
MMA and Bjj instructional DVD sets sell for hundreds of dollars.
