Ritchie Yip is the Head Of Content for the InFighting Blog, and is the Head Instructor of the InFighting Martial Arts Gym in Burnaby, British Columbia.

  • Studying Martial Arts since 1997.
  • Teaching Martial Arts professionally since 2003.
  • Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt
  • BCRPA Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Group Fitness Instructor
  • Regular guest instructor at Langara College, teaching their Criminal Justice students Use of Force (handcuffing and restraining) techniques.
  • Known as a teacher who is capable of explaining complex and intricate techniques in a simple and understandable manner.
  • Reputation has attracted students from the VPD, the RCMP, and the Canada Border Services Agency.
  • Ritchie has trained with such highly esteemed professionals as:
  • Lhamsuren ‘Lhama’ Naidan, the Mongolian 2000 Olympic team wrestling coach and a current coach for the SFU Wrestling Team.
  • Former Commonwealth Title holder and former IBO World Title holder Tony “Kid Fire” Pep.
